Simulsat configuration drawings are site specific models used to demonstrate to the customer the size of the antenna, as it will stand on a particular site. It consists of three views, showing the antenna from the top, side, and front. The top view labels dimensions off the antenna pivot point. The pivot point is located on the rear mount and is used in locating the placement of the Simulsat. The side view shows the ground clearance of the reflector, while the front view shows the overall height and width. Configuration drawings take into account the antenna’s azimuth heading, elevation and roll adjustments for a given set of coordinates.
