Site layout drawings can be developed from a site plot plan supplied by the customer or from information obtained by a site survey performed by an ATCi field engineer. Layouts consist of a model of the Simulsat antenna placed and oriented to the proper azimuth heading. Layout drawings help with issues such as on site obstructions, space restrictions and in some cases are used for permitting processes.
