ATCi performs service calls on existing Simulsat systems and other satellite antenna systems. Conditions that require a service call vary widely, but many times service calls are routine tune-ups and/or the addition of new equipment. During a service call, the Field Engineer will verify that all antenna adjustments are correct for the location, repeak feed assemblies, evaluate the antenna’s structure, and troubleshoot any problems. Field engineers will train on site personnel in peaking Simulsat feed assemblies. In addition, service calls can be performed to install new or updated equipment such as additional feed horn assemblies, junction boxes, guy cable sets, and/or band pass filters. Service calls can be scheduled during normal service window time frames; for example, 12am to 6am.
